I am looking forward to teaching you in your final year, here at Torrisholme Primary School. Let’s make it a memorable one!

Our topic this term is SUPERHEROES. The topic will be divided into two halves. In the first half, we will be developing our own fictional superhero, which we will make out of plasticine to meet a specific design criteria and use to write adventure stories and create a superhero movie using our ICT skills. The second half of the topic will be spent looking at real-life superheroes and we are hoping to hold a local hero day in school where the children get to meet heroes from the local community and ask them questions. They will use information researched and learned about heroes to create non-fiction texts. More details to follow.
