Year 2 Spanish

This half term we have been learning a song about colours and pets. We have learned how to say what our pet is called. Today we tried writing sentences about our pets. Look at some of our work!

Mascotas

 

We have been learning the names of some pets in Spanish.

We can ask and reply to the question 'Have you got any pets?'

 

¿Tienes alguna mascota?                      Have you got any pets?

Sí, tengo .....                                         Yes, I have....

No ,no tengo ninguna mascota.             No, I don’t have any pets.

Autumn 2016

Juan y las Judías Mágicas

This half term we will be learning some key words for the story of Jack and the Beanstalk to link with our class theme of Giants. First we will learn actions for the words and listen to them alone and also in the story. Then we will practise pronouncing the words . Finally we read the words and play a pairs game. We are aiming to  listen ,read and join in with the whole story!

el tallo- the beanstalk

el castillo- the castle

el ogro- the ogre

la gallina- the hen

la bolsa grande llena de oro- the big bag full of gold

el arpa- the harp

We used verbs to make sentences in Spanish!
