Easter

Easter

Usually we would all have done some learning about Easter and its importance to Christians. We have put together some of the following resources and links to activities to support your child's RE work.

Happy Easter from all of the staff at Torrisholme and we would love to see your Easter work, either through email to your year group or on purple mash by saving your work.

Easter Love and Kindness Activity

For Christians, Easter in a very important festival as they believe that God loves them so much that he sent his only son to die for them.

I want you to think about how you can show people love and kindness.

Make a list of all the things you can do to show you love and care for someone. For example: a smile, a hug, cleaning your room and washing up are some of the ways you could do this.

When you have made your list, show it to the grown-ups in your house.

Then you can either make a cube, using the net of a cube below, but don't stick down the final face, or get a small tub, jar or container and decorate it anyway you want to.

This is your token jar. When you do one of the things you have got on your list, a grown-up or brother or sister can put a token into the container. The token could be a bit of paper, a button, a penny, a pebble or any other small item you can think of.

Then at the end of Easter, you can count how many tokens you received.
