Our visit to the Lake District
We visited Little Langdale and went to Cathedral Quarry. We walked around the surrounding area and played games. The children went on treasure hunts for reindeer moss, quartz, slate and many other things they could find. We played 'pooh sticks' and explored the old quarry tunnels - it was very dark, damp and cold!
The children said it was their best day ever - splashing in puddles and getting wet was great fun.
Certainly a great way to start the school week.
At our end of term music, we enjoyed performances from children who have been learning a variety of instruments. See the film clips below to enjoy their performances!
