Tag Rugby
Spring 2 2019- Year 5 are enjoying learning and developing the skills and tactics involved in playing tag rugby.
The tag rugby team came 2nd in the tournament at Salt Ayer on Friday 26th May. They were against an extremely tough St Wilfrid's team in the final. Well done, boys. You played brilliantly in the heat today.

Well done to Archie, Sacha, Ruby, Ruby, Maddie, Alex, Hayden, Ryan, Kenzie, Jake and Matty for an amazing tournament victory at the Lancaster and Morecambe tag rugby festival. The team now go on to represent Morecambe at the Lancashire School games on July 5th. Read the report below...
Torrisholme win - what a day!
Apologies for tag rugby being cancelled for the last two weeks (once for the weather and once for staff training). Hopefully, we will be able to carry out our last training session next week (Thursday April 7th).
Many thanks to all children who have attended this year.
Unfortunately, having initially been told otherwise, we are only able to enter one team in the Vale of Lune tournament on April 26th.
There is a later tournament taking place at Morecambe High School so watch this space.
Tag rugby club has been cancelled until after Christmas due to a waterlogged pitch. We aim to start again on Thursday 7th January.
Tag rugby club begins on Thursday 17th September. This club is open to boys and girls and is NON contact - if you can run, you can play tag rugby!
