Chocolate!
We are going to make Spanish hot chocolate! We have done some dictionary work to look up some key words for the recipe. Now we have to practise our pronunciation so we can record our cookery show! Watch this space for our hot chocolate recipe videos.
Have a look at the archived pages from 5G and 5S to see what we are going to do!
Listen to our Spanish parent helper, Señora Sornosa, read the recipe aloud to help your pronunciation.
School subjects
We can give our opinions of school subjects in Spanish and say why we like them.We practised saying our sentences and then memorised them before writing them down.It was quite tricky to remember all the correct verb and adjective agreements! Look at the clips below to see how we did.
We read some facts in Spanish and made a timeline about the Maya people from the arrival of the Spanish in 1517 ( mil quinientos diecisiete) up until the present day.We practised saying the years in Spanish. We tried to read the facts using cognates and an online Spanish dictionary.
