Week 7
Another fantastic science session, we worked in a more formal way, predicting and recording our results to make the best coat for Chippy the puppet.
Week 6
This week we investigated the best material for a swimming costume for Elastigirl!
We used super vocabulary including absorbent and stretchy. We predicted and tested a variety of materials. As a challenge, some of us weighed and measured materials before and after dunking in water.
Week 5
What a fun and creative science lesson, full of awe and wonder. The children used lots of scientific vocabulary and decided on the best material for Mr Sensible’s umbrella and then the worst material. We even tested the best on a little human head and they stayed dry!

What a fun starting activity, thinking about different materials.

Super Science
We had fun labelling a bike and thinking about all the materials it is made from. We then wondered what if a bike was made from wood or even elastic!
