DT Week
The children had a fantastic week tasting, designing, constructing and evaluating cheesecakes!
Thank you to our guest judge, Mrs. Tagg, who decided that the winning cheesecake was that with the ‘oatie’ base.
Classifying Organisms
We looked at features of living organisms and came up with classification keys to sort various organisms. The children had to justify as to which group they placed an individual organism.
Having investigated how to make the colour green from primary colours, the children were experimenting with tones of green to create desired effects.

What an absolute privilege it was meeting Grandad Wheels today. The children have been truly inspired by his story and absolutely loved his books. They were challenged to design him a new wheelchair and they had a great time sharing their ideas and designs - they are quite impressive!
The children have begun to investigate the continent of South America. They started by writing what they knew about the place. After this, they used atlases and devices to investigate human and physical features of chosen countries within this continent.
