Who are ‘The Seaside Signers’?

The Seaside Signers are formed by mix of Loyne Specialist School students and Torrisholme C.P. School students.

Every Wednesday lunch time, 9 students from Torrisholme travel with Mrs Rhodes, Mrs Dowker and/or Mrs Jones to the Loyne Specialist School to sing and sign. Together they share songs they have learned, using Makaton signs, with each other and form new friendships. We look forward to our visit every week and love learning new signs. It is very special to watch the students sing and sign together. 
The children return each week with new signs and love to share what they have learned in singing assembly, teaching our whole school Makaton sign!
