Geography
This half-term we are learning about the UK and how it is divided up into regions, counties and cities. The children will recap their knowledge of the UK, labelling maps with the 4 countries and surrounding seas.
In geography, we continue to revise our knowledge of counties and regions and have looked at geographical scale- understanding that we are part of a town, within the county of Lancashire, within the North West, which is part of England, in the UK, within the continent of Europe which is part of the world!
We have been learning about the UK! We have been finding out about regions and understanding that we are part of the North West. They have also been learning about counties and that we are part of Lancashire.
