Wow, did we rock loud and proud when Rock Kidz visited us? Yes. We. Did!!
We danced, jumped, head banged and foot thumped our way through fun songs and tracks with an anti-bullying message and reminded ourselves about the importance of kindness.

Morecambe Bay Academy welcomed us into their Art rooms on Tuesday 13th September and delivered a fantastic ceramics workshop. The children learned lots of new language linked to this area of art - slip, score, smooth, mould, shape, fire, kiln - and used a selection of tools to create different artistic effects. Every single member of the class (along with some adult helpers!) successfully sculpted a clay bird which will be fired and delivered to school in the coming weeks for us to paint and varnish. We had a wonderful session and also walked there and back safely in record time!
The freshly picked apples from the tree outside the art room were thoroughly enjoyed and gave a much needed walking boost for the return to school!
