This morning, we welcomed Wolfstein into school, a travelling storyteller who told us tales of King Vortigern, Hengist and Horst, tribes and kingdoms, battles and invaders…
He had much to share with us about life in Saxon Britain.

Our villages were called Jacobingsbury, Sophieingsford, Amiraringsport, Jakeingstun and Loganingshirst. Over time, our villages united into a kingdom. King, earlderman, thane, churls, peasants and slaves - a kingdom hierarchy.
