Science

At Torrisholme Primary, we teach Science using our own  bespoke Curriculum Plans with support from Plan Science and Developing Experts to ensure coverage of the full curriculum. 

We have included a famous scientist to research within each science topic to further enhance our children's learning.

What is Science?

Video resource for KS2 students. Produced for the Science Sessions project at Cardiff University in association with Willmott Dixon, The Cardiff Commitment and The Waterloo Foundation.

What is a Scientist?

Scientists learn about their subject by observing, describing, and experimenting and these are key lessons that are being taught to schools to encourage take up of science related subjects. The Trio Sci Cymru project at Cardiff University will deliver STEM engagement activities to KS3 students throughout the South Wales Valleys.
