PRINTING
This half term, we are printing!.
Week 1 - Exploring every day objects and printing in a straight line.
Week 1 - Brick patterns
Week 2 - Exploring monoprinting using tinfoil and polystyrene
Week 3 - Printing with leaves
We enjoyed running around the school grounds searching for leaves and were happy to find some eventhough we are in winter! We looked for perfect leaves which would give us excellent prints.
We were using felt tip pens to make our prints this week and we were not sure how well it would work. However, we had some impressive results!
Week 4 - polystyrene prints from nature
Having experimented with mark-making on polystryrene we decided to copy our leaves onto this medium. We made thin and thick lines and used a choice of 2 colours.
