Aladdin
This week we have begun our new topic of Aladdin. We are absolutely loving this topic and have enjoyed exploring the text and film to learn about the character of Aladdin and the setting of the story. We have focussed on spotting and understanding new vocabulary from the text. We have written sentences to explain Aladdin’s character based on evidence from the text.
Persuasive Texts
We are focusing on persuasive texts and have been labelling the different features.
We have completed our own persuasive leaflet to encourage people to come to Morecambe. The children worked extremely hard using slogans, persuasive language, facts, questions, exclamation sentences, deals and eye catching pictures. Here’s just a few examples of the leaflets below;
