PSHE
Our puzzle piece for this half term is 'Differences', and we have been discussing the differences that we have within our class, such as our appearances, our age, our gender, our likes and dislikes and our families. We have played lots of different activities to help us compare the similarities and differences between us all, and we have also been discussing how everyone in the world is unique. Our favourite so far has been the 'Yes or No' game, where we were given a statement such as 'I love to eat chocolate', and we had to go to yes or no if we agreed or disagreed. We then looked at who had different opinions to each other.
Today we have had the Dogs Trust in with us to talk to us all about dogs in our communities and homes and how we can look after them and how we should be treating them. We spoke about the 5 golden rules, and how we should always ask for the owners permission and then the dogs permission before stroking one that we do not know. We loved meeting school dog Duke and his Sam. Thank you for visiting us!
