A Short January Tale
We came to school.
It snowed.
We played.
We hollered and squealed in delight.
We slid, scraped, rolled and squashed.
Snow angels, snowballs, snowmen… you name it, we made it.
Our hands went red, noses too.
Shoes got wet, soggy socks… quite a few!
But our faces beamed and our joy was clear…
then the snow melted and all that was left were those memory moments, held so dear.
