3D-Form - Dragon Eyes
After exploring the work of ‘dragon artists’, John Howe, Anne Stokes and James Doran Webb, the children went on to practise drawing dragon eyes whilst revisiting their pattern and texture knowledge.
They then went on to create a cardboard ‘Maquette’.
A maquette helps a sculptor visualise a design whilst working out approaches for how it might be made.
The children enjoyed testing out different ideas and in the process, learnt a lot about shape, space and form.
