The children had a great time learning about the legend of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. In small groups, they choose one of the main characters and re-enacted the story to the class. They choose some interesting props to help them!! They remembered the key events of the legend very well.
Roman Numerals
The children consolidated their Roman Numeral knowledge and learnt that D=500 and that M=1000. They used lolly-pop sticks to help. Over the next few weeks, you could ask your child to tell you the date in Roman Numerals to help them practise their super learning.
