Summer Term
Roots, Shoots & Muddy Boots!
Spring is most certainly in the air as we prepare to step into the first half of the summer term. As scientists and geographers, we will be spending time outdoors in our fabulous grounds as we immerse ourselves in the spring season; observing natural changes to the environment whilst learning about the life cycles of plants and animals. We’ll be dipping in our pond, digging in our garden and making friends with the bees as we make the most of all our outdoor spaces. 🌞
Be the Change, Be the Difference
As we step into our final half term, the children will be reflecting on the small steps they can take to look after the world around them. They will develop an awareness of the importance of bees as they work to spread the message of why they need to ‘bee the change’ and save these buzzing pollinators. Later, they will look to harness the power of the wind as they join in with the ‘Great Science Share’ before moving on to understand more about sea pollution and its effect on both our locality and the wider world.
