Why not be helpful and give your parents a little rest this week? Can you do some hoovering around the house? Don't forget to send in any pictures of you being helpful.
Literacy
Warm up: Practice your days of the week using the fun song linked below.
Skill: Watch Mrs Kippax go through forming capital letters and have a go at them in your exercise book from your paper pack.
Activity: Watch the Man on the Moon story using the link below. Can you order the pictures and write a sentence about what happened at each part of the story? Don't forget your capital letters.
Maths
Daily Arithmetic: Practice counting in steps of 2. Are these odd or even numbers? How do you know?
Continue this count 1, 3, 5, 7, 9....Are these even number or odd? How do you know?
2D shape:
Watch the short video in the link below to remind yourselves of 2D shapes and then complete the online quiz.
Activity: Complete the 2D shape colouring activity from your paper pack.
Challenge: Can you use objects around your house to create 2D shapes e.g. can you arrange socks into a circle or use your toys to make a triangle. Send us your pictures using the 'Evidence me' app - we can't wait to see your hard work Year 1!

Log into your Collins eBook library and choose a book to read. Please write the title of the story you read in your yellow diary and send a video of you reading it if you can!
