This half terms PSHE theme is Dreams and Goals. Today we tried to achieve a goal as a class - pass the treasure chest (filled with coins) around the circle without it making a sound. We talked about how we felt as we achieved the goal. We also learnt that we can store our successes and the feelings that come with those inside of us just like a treasure. Each child shared an achievement with their friends.
In RE we learnt about Judaism and how Jews keep the Sabbath day Holy. Every week they take one day to rest and spend time with God and their family. We each created an invite for one of our family members to ask them to join us at a special family time.
Our last science lesson was all about caring for pets. The children learnt lots about how to care for each animal and chose one to create a fact page on. Check out a few below;
