Teambuilding Sessions
We were so lucky to have Alex and Beck from Borwick Hall visit 5B and provide the children with a range of outdoor activities to support relationship building and promote the school's values. The children learnt about Kindness, Respect, Trust and Courage through a series of challenging, exciting and interactive activities.
Science - Properties of Materials
We carried out an investigation to discover which materials were soluble and insoluble. We tested sugar, salt, chalk, gravy, flour, sand and coffee to determine which would dissolve.
Visit from United Utilities
We welcomed Ruth from United Utilities who undertook a number of activities with us. The children learned: water facts; states of matter; how we get water; uses of water; calculating how much water we use; where our water comes from; the water cycle and how water companies supply their customers.
