In ART...
We have been looking at the the work of Matisse. We have been creating our own versions of his artwork, thinking carefully about the shapes and colours.
In DT, we are very excited to be beginning our design process for our very own pencil cases!
To begin, we have been looking at and commenting on:
- What a good pencil case looks like
- What shape we like and how big our design will need to be
- What style we like
- What colours or patterns we like
- What fastenings we could use

We have finally completed our sewing! We did running stitch and over stitch and we have even sewn on our own zip fastening!
We are almost finished with our pencil cases!!
We have been having a go at running stitch! It was a bit tricky but we are trying hard to persevere!
