More past tense practise
We are getting more confident at using the rules for past tense.
Toby and the Great Fire of London
We have nearly finished the story, Toby met King Charles II, the children were amazed at this so we wrote ideas about how Toby might be feeling when he met him.
Past tense practise
We used one of our new past tensed rules to practise spelling and writing sentences.
Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th November
Super reading sessions based on Toby and the Great Fire of London. Thoughts, feelings, searching for past tense words, and predicting what might happen to the book when it is dropped.
Wednesday 9th November
We found out our book is Traction Man by Mini Grey. We stepped through the magic mirror to become our new character.

We continued our book Toby and the Great Fire of London. We were thinking about thoughts and feelings of Toby.
