The Very Hungry Caterpillar 🐛
We loved reading our story ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ and playing the sentence maker game. We took turns choosing a special object from our story basket and saying a sentence about it, for example ‘The red apple is delicious’🌟 What fun!
We loved exploring new vocabulary from our story and creating a class story map! 🐛
We loved diving into non-fiction texts to learn all about the life cycle of a butterfly. We enjoyed being super scientists and writing about the life cycle of a butterfly using our time order words (First, Next, Then & Finally). Using and applying our taught letter sounds!
We have enjoyed creating and making activities linked to our hungry caterpillar story.
