Year 2 made Torrisholme proud at the athletic competition.
Swimming Gala
On Thursday, Torrisholme entered a swimming gala and came second!

On Tuesday, the girls entered a cricket tournament.

Inter-Schools' Cross Country
On Monday 22nd May, a team consisting of Year 5 and Year 6 took part in the cross-country races at St. Helen's in Overton. The conditions were near perfect- if a little on the warm side. The team were a credit to both themselves and the school, being extremely supportive of one another. Well done to all who took part!!

Well done to the girls who played at Morecambe Bay Academy and won the competition this afternoon. Also, thank you to Coach T for all of her support and commitment in shaping the team.
Girls' Football Competition
On Tuesday 25th April, the girls took part in a football competition at Morecambe Bay Academy. They played brilliantly and enter the next round later in May.
Year 4 and 5 Girls' Football
The girls played a number of matches at school yesterday(Monday 30th January) and even some teachers were involved in the matches. 22 girls took part and had a great time. Many thanks to Coach T for running the club since October.
EFL under 11's Football Competition
On a foggy Tuesday 29th November 2022, we entered this football competition held at Mossgate Sports Facilities. Only the two highest placed teams could proceed to the next round. Despite winning two matches, drawing three matches and losing only two, this was not enough to progress to the next round.
The team were a credit to the school and played some great football.
Girls' Football Tournament
On Thursday 24th November 2022, we entered a football tournament at Lancaster and Morecambe College. The girls played brilliantly and were unfortunate not to get through to the quarter finals.
Morecambe Bay Academy Football League
The 8-a-side football league started at Morecambe Bay Academy in November. This will continue into the New Year.
We are through to the 'Europa Cup' stage of this tournament. We made a good start, having played eight matches and winning four of them. The last round will be played on February 7th.
