We have been exploring fractions. We looked at shapes and identified how we could split them into halves.
We explored making doubles, we know that a double is having the same thing twice. We used cubes to find all of the doubles up to double 10.
We have been using counters to represent equal groups.
We practised counting in 2s!
We enjoyed exploring capacity. We measured how many cups full different containers would hold and we compared the difference. We identified containers that were full, empty and half full.
This week in Maths we are looking at measuring. We have been using the balance scales to compare 3 items and order them from the lightest to heaviest and also to measure how many cubes it takes to balance different objects.
