Welcome to our website. We currently have places available in some year groups. If you would like to visit the school, or have any questions, please contact the office.
We have been learning to name the different parts of a plant. We explored outside finding these different parts. We carefully observed some flowering plants, drew what we saw and labelled the flower, stem, leaf and roots.
We have been on a tree hunt in our grounds looking for deciduous and evergreen trees.
We have been exploring the different items in our science area. We have lots of leaves and some branches from a sycamore and horse chestnut tree. The sycamore tree still has it seed 'helicopters' attached and the horse chestnut has conkers in their prickly shell on it.
We have been comparing two different flowers. We learned the name of them and talked about their differences and similarities. We used our observational skills to draw pictures of them.
