Electrical Systems: Doodlers
The children begun their new DT by exploring the use of motors. We looked at what motors actually do and why they’re used. In doing this, the children created their own circuits incorporating a motor.
We then investigated and researched existing products, understanding how they worked, the components included and deconstructing and reconstructing them.
After designing their own doodlers based on their findings from the research, the children began constructing their doodlers.
To suit the intended user, the children then decorate their doodlers.














To conclude their project, the children then evaluated the making process and their final product, noting any difficulties they encountered and what didn’t go to plan with their product.
