Joan Miro
We have been learning about the Spanish artist, Joan Miro. We loved looking at his abstract art and enjoyed copying some of his distinctive lines and shapes. We used black pens to create these eye catching designs and enjoyed using Miro’s art as a means of developing our pencil grip and fine motor skills.
























Our creative area has been busy as the children learned how to make simple puppets. As part of this, children are mastering the skill of using sellotape to join. As we all all know finding and keeping the end of the sellotape is a very tricky challenge, but after listening carefully to some top tips, this young learner knows exactly what to do and loved supporting her peers.



It’s beginning to look a lot like…Christmas!!!
It may only be September but our Christmas card designs are completed and ready for you to view. We hope you think our finger printed robins are as cute as we do!
