Our Broad beans have germinated successfully, growing strong roots and shoots. We have now transplanted them into a large trough where they will hopefully continue to grow and thrive. We can’t wait to see what happens next!

VE Day Preparations & Celebrations
We enjoyed learning about the significance of VE Day and the importance of it in our nation’s history. We loved decorating our classroom and imagining what it would have been like to have been part of such a momentous occasion. We added a china tea set and copies of newspapers from the time to our classroom home so the children could role play family life. We enjoyed a celebratory picnic together and later a class tea party with real tea and biscuits.
