Our finished products! We used a range of joining techniques to turn our designs into real life.
The making process
We began to use a stitch of our choice (either overlap or running stitch) to sew our puppets together,
We drew around templates and cut out the felt, ready to make our puppets,
We learned how to do a running stitch and overlap stitch.
We explored a range of ways to join fabrics together, including: staple, split pins, safety pins and glue. Some were trickier than others.
We explored a range of different puppets including: hand puppets, sock puppets, stick puppets, shadow puppets and string puppets.
