Exploring with and analysing different materials before designing our own 3D form sculptures
We started our 3D form unit of work by analysing sculptures by various artists to understand how they are formed, emotions they evoke and the artists’ intentions. It was lovely to hear the discussions around each piece of work and really interesting to see that children saw pieces of art from different perspectives depending on their own experiences.
