During World Book Day, our focus text was this absolutely beautiful text, ‘The Night Gardener’. We have really enjoyed creating diary entries in role of William.
The class are absolutely loving learning about the different dogs in ‘Call of the Wild’.
We started our whole class reading lesson with a spot of paired reading - listening to the children read aloud to each other is such a joy.
We have started our unit of work based on the classic novel ‘Call of the Wild’ and the children are absolutely engrossed already. We have been exploring what we know and infer about Buck and have written wonderful descriptions so far.
