Say it, See it, Subitise!
In maths this week, the children have been practising their subitising skills to 3.
Subitising means recognising a number of objects without counting them one by one. The
children enjoyed playing a dice game, rolling a 1-3 dice and quickly saying the number
they could see. It was lots of fun we had a lot of winners!

Exploring Measurement in the Classroom
We have been busy exploring the world of measurement through fun and hands-
on activities like building tall towers. We have been learning how to compare and describe everyday objects by
looking at their length, height, weight, and capacity.
Using real-life examples such as classroom items, water containers, and even our own
shoes, we practiced using words like longer/shorter, taller/smaller, heavier/lighter,
full/empty.
