Welcome back to our music page. This half term we are using the Charanga Scheme and concentrating on

IMPROVISATION

Improvising to the song ‘O, When the Saints Go Marching In'!

We have had a lovely few weeks learning this great song and improvising with recorders and tuned percussion.

Singing and Playing!

Recorder 

We shall be continuing to learn the recorder, combining it with our music lessons. Last term, we learned the notes B . A and G. 

Here are some tunes to play using B, A and G

We have been recapping the notes of B,A and G and have introduced C and D.
We are far more confident and are able to read B, A and G on the stave.
Most of us have the left hand at the top of the recorder now! We are playing tunes confidently and using the recorder to help us improvise in music lessons.
