This half term year 4 have started to explore Living Things and Their Habitats! We started off by learning about the 7 characteristics of living things.

We then had a look at grouping different animals into the 5 categories. Fish, Amphibians, Mammals, Reptiles and Birds. 
Fun Fact- for an animal to be a bird it doesn’t need to fly, it just needs to have feathers! 
The children had a go at grouping different animals into the five different groups. We then looked at grouping them into Carnivores, Herbivores, and Omnivores.
