We have been looking at the similarities and differences between different leaves. We noticed that leaves are similar as they all have veins, petioles and midrib. However, they can be different colours and shapes. We looked around our school grounds to see the different types of leaves. We also spotted some Autumn leaves that had fallen off the trees.
We have been on a walk around school to identify which different types of flowers and trees that we have within our school grounds. We found daisies, daffodils, blossom trees, silver birch tree, oak tree, bluebells and dandelions.
We identified all of the things plants need to grow. We have planted some broad beans and we are going to watch them grow over the half term.
We identified and labelled all of the parts of a plant.
