We loved celebrating our school's 60th Diamond Jubilee celebrations with our school family. What a wonderful day full of fun!
Our special visit from Eden Bear! We had lots of fun playing and learning with Eden Bear and our Torrisholme Bear!
Eden Bear is a special bear that visits schools around the local area as part of the Eden Project North.

We enjoyed going on a treasure hunt sent to us by 'Peg-Leg Pirate'! We loved reading words (using our fabulous phonics) and searching high and low to find the treasure! 🏴☠️
On 'Forest Friday' we went on a treasure hunt to find natural objects to make and create pirate ships. We loved discovering which things will float and which objects will sink so we could make and build a ship that will carry 'Peg-Leg' safety across the ocean to find the buried treasure! 🛶
Inspired by our ‘Forest Friday’ adventure we loved creating and making boats and predicting which ones would float and which would sink! Super science! 🛶
On 'Forest Friday' we enjoyed creating telescopes to take on our adventure as we went to find natural treasure and create beautiful pirate inspired artwork! 🏴☠️

We loved sharing the story ‘One Odd Day’ by Dani Sneed and creating our very own odd day picture! 🌟
We loved playing a ‘Fruit Splatting Game’ and creating odd and even monsters and cookies! What fun!
We enjoyed problem solving about who could go on Mr Grumpy’s boat if there were only 8 legs allowed on board altogether.
Inspired by our story ‘How many legs’ by Kes Gray we enjoyed drawing how many animals we would need to have 16 legs altogether! Marvellous mathematics! 🌟

What a wonderful visit from Hest Bank Dental Care!
We loved sorting different foods into healthy and unhealthy and then they showed us how to care for our teeth and showed us some giant teeth! We got to brush them with a huge toothbrush! We were excited to learn there are 20 teeth in our mouth and when they fall out we will get our adult teeth! 🦷
Outdoor PE
In PSHE, we have started our new topic 'changing me'. We had lots of fun drawing around our friend and labelling our body. What fun!
