Understanding the World
This half term, the beebots have been for a visit! The Teddies have loved exploring how they work as part of our computing focus and were brilliant at telling them where to go!
We were lucky enough to be invited by Year 5 to come and watch them release the butterflies they had been looking after as part of their science lessons. The Teddies did some excellent listening and some of them even got to hold a butterfly!
Light and Dark 🌞🌚
During Autumn 2, our theme is light and dark. We have started looking at what happens when lights go off, what happens when you turn a light on? The Teddies loved exploring torches and LED tea lights to light up a dark space. We then moved on to talk about nocturnal animals - animals that sleep during the day and come out at night.
