In Wyre Class, we place a big focus on reading, as it helps children develop their imagination, vocabulary, and understanding across all subjects. Reading diaries will be checked regularly, and we ask that children read at least four times a week at home. If your child isn’t enjoying their current book, please let us know so we can help them choose another. When reading together, try asking questions such as: Who is the main character? What do you think might happen next? Why do you think that? These discussions make a real difference to your child’s progress and enjoyment of books.

Maths

Please learn ALL of the times tables, beginning with securing quick recall of the 2,5,10's then 3,4,8's and then 6,7,9,11,12's.

TT Rockstars will help with learning these!

PE: Monday afternoon (outdoor- weather permitting!) Please ensure the children have warm clothes for outdoor PE.

Swimming: Thursday morning

Please remember to send in a full (labelled!) PE kit/swim kit
