Welcome to our class. We have had a great start to the second half of the Spring term with the children returning to the classroom rested and ready to continue their great work. It is going to be our busiest half term of the year and we are looking forward to everything it has in store for us!

Reading: Children in Year 6 are expected to read at least 4 times a week for a minimum of 20 minutes. We have a reading challenge in class where we are aiming to read 1,000 times as a class - I wonder how long it will take for us to achieve our goal? Please encourage your child to read at home as much as possible and talk to them regularly about what they are reading.

Times Table Rockstars: Just 5 minutes a day practising quick recall of multiplication and division facts can have an extremely positive impact. Please encourage your child to login to TTRS daily and to get involved in the whole school TTRS Premier league where classes go head to head against each other to earn league points and prizes for their class.
