In Art this half term, we are learning about line. We will experiment with different types of line and one-line drawings, using Picasso and Klee as our inspiration.
Week 1 - Abstract Art
In our first session of Art, we have been been learning about the introduction of Abstract Art, originating from New York at around 1910.
We have been looking at different srt works, deciding whether they were realistic or abstract.
Everyone enjoyed creating their own piece of abstract art using felt tips.

Week 2 - Let's learn about line...
A contour line is an outline. We have been practising different types of line. How many different lines can we draw to join two dots?

We discussed one of Picasso's most famous works and identified the different lines he used to create his picture. How many different lines could we see?
