Comparing Florida and Blackpool
The children started the unit by using an atlas and Chromebook to explore the physical and human features of Blackpool. They explored features like the type of settlement it is, what economic activity is dominant and the bodies of water that are near.
Using their skills and awareness of features developed from the first lesson, the children then collected the physical and human features of Florida.
