The lifecycle of some of our butterflies, the day we released three painted lady butterflies.
We were looking at lifecycles, we used air drying clay to create a lifecycle of either a chicken, frog or butterfly.
Science Share Day - The Great Observation Share - unfortunately the weather was against us. We were asked to draw a flower from memory. Then following instruction we were challenged to create a scientific observation of a flower. The results were incredible!
Science Share Day - The Great Sustainability Share - After a discussion and questions we created wind vanes. We thought about how we could make our wind vane work.
Science Share Day - The Great Sustainability Share. We went outside and tested the wind using coats, bags, gliders, flags and windmills.
Our investigation has finished. We compared our marigolds to Mrs McMahon’s control plant. We had looked after our plants for two weeks carefully. We understand that a healthy plant needs fresh air, water, nutrients, warmth and light.
We are planning, predicting and setting up our own investigation into what plants need to stay healthy.
