Learning about reflection
The children enjoyed observing what happens to their pupils when the lights are turned on and off. They then worked really hard to learn and remember the scientific names for parts of the eye and their function.
We started our Science with learning about how we can see objects. The children created models, rehearsed an explanation with actions and demonstrated their understanding in their books.
