Understanding the World
Our Trip to Leighton Hall 🐛🐞🪲
What an adventure we had on our class tip to Leighton Hall! From the moment we arrived, it was a day packed full of excitement, exploration and muddy hands. We started the day
discovering the wildlife habitats around the grounds, Armed with curiosity, we searched high
and low for mini- beasts and mammals. We were thrilled to spot a frog, evidence rabbits, plenty of worms, and all sorts of creepy crawlies that call Leighton Hall home. After that, it was time to head into the Meadow for some amazing outdoor
activities. We let our imaginations run wild while:
🍃Making clay mini beasts
🍃Cooking up fun in the mud kitchen
🍃 And playing a brand new class favourite Vanish (if you have not played it yet, be
prepared to dash and disappear like woodlouse!)
Everyone got stuck in, hands muddy
faces smiling, and spirits high, it was the perfect mix of learning and laughter, and we all came away with a deeper appreciation for nature.
